Same here my 2021 atlas cross sport with only 7,000 miles has been in the shop for 35 days waiting for the piece with no rentals available they are offering 53$ a day limit to get a rental car at enterprise but here in ny that doesn’t exist thanks for nothing!
My regional case manager just called stating that they have asked the dealership (cherry hill) to obtain a loaner from Enterprise- but they did not mention a limit to the daily rental cost. Supposedly dealer is supposed to be reaching out to enterprise, if I don’t hear anything back from dealer I will hear back from the Regional case manager Friday (2 business days). I have already contacted lemon law attorney and they have begun a case initiation. NJ state lemon law requires car to be in service without resolution for 20 days (since 2/8) so approaching the 20 day mark is when I will hear more from the attorney about options to request from VW. Let me know how you make out if you can.

I am contacting a lemon law attorney tomorrow for mine. It’s been over 60 days and they call me once a week with NO information whatsoever.

I’m expecting the same will happen to me! The weekly check in to tell me absolutely nothing. You should definitely qualify For lemon law. I’m interested in what options you will have . I was told by lemon law attorney to expect options to include a buyout of the lease, upgrade to new model,and/or payout of lease payments thus far.

I’d take the payout. I’ve been paying a lot of money every month for a car I can’t drive. I expect to be reimbursed for that time as well. I am livid.

Just chiming in here to say that we still have no resolution and it’s been 2.5 months. We are currently awaiting to hear back from the buyout program. I honestly don’t know how VW is getting away with this right now. It is obviously a HUGE issue-definitely a safety issue- and they are doing nothing to address it. They can’t find a rental for my family of six so we are going to be forced to drive our own (unfixed) car again. It’s outrageous.

I’m sorry you’re going through this also… it’s just awful. Same…they finally said oh we have a rental but it’s a 2014 Jetta and I can’t fit three car seats in the back seats so it’s useless to me. And I’m paying for a car worth a lot more than a freakin ‘14 Jetta!!! It just is so aggravating. I refuse to drive my car that just shuts off while driving it. So it’s been sitting at the dealership since way before Christmas. And was there a few weeks in November too.
 
I recently started receiving this error for no reason, just within 15 seconds within starting the vehicle while being parked at my driveway or even being stopped at a red light. After getting this error message and the constant beeping, the emergency brake turns on and the window from behind driver's door lowers like 5 inches from top. At this point, I cannot lower window and I cannot turn off emergency brake. So in order to reset, I have to turn off the engine then open behind driver door(where the window is lowered) and when closing it back I turn on engine. This makes the error go away, everything goes back to normal. So ODD but so annoying too. This has happened 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Don't know what triggers this. Anyone with similar issue?
I have a 2021 SE v6 Rline. Same issue it’s been in the shop a few weeks. Dealer says it could be months for the part.

Same here! runaway from Volkswagen and don’t look back. I’ve experienced a much better service from my previous leases with Hyundai and Chevy these guys are jokes. from the vehicle, service department to the service you receive from corporate just horrible. I’m using an attorney to begin Lemon law with my paper work ready I want my down payment back plus every monthly payment I made on this car.

Hi! Yes I did! Im waiting for a package from them to come with the attorney and paralegals information. They are handling all communication with VW from this point forward! Hoping for them to buy the car back from me.
 
i am Having the same issues with my Atlas 2021. Door harness part is not available and car has been with dealership for 4 months. I am still having to pay the lease with no equivalent loaner available. Will be reaching out to a lawyer tomorrow too. Was anyone successful in getting VW to take the vehicle back or freeze payment? Or anything???

So far no result but my car has been in the dealership getting serviced for 30 days with the same results no piece no loaner car. The dealership has agreed to pay 53$ a day for a rental only through enterprise, but here in ny that does not excist. The 30 days off the road in the first 24 months makes it eligible for the lemon law I contacted the lawer right away they say it could take up to 2 months but as long as you have your documents of the car being serviced and it specifies that the car has been in the shop for 30 days you have a strong case my advice is get started quickly and get out of the contract with this company

I came across someone who was successful in VW buying back their car…receiving their down payment plus all their monthly payments back.
Now the driver harness has been fixed. I have water leaking thru my light switch. Thanks for nothing VW!!!
OMG!!!! But also how did the harness get fixed?? How long were you waiting for the part???
