Just curious on how much everyone paid for their Volkswagen Atlas out the door? Were you satisfied with the price you paid?

What should I pay for these two in New Jersey?

1. MSRP $45,339,Atlas cross sport SE V6 R line w/Technology 4 motion

2. MSRP $48,069, Atlas cross sport SEL V6 R line 4 motion.

What other SUVs did you consider buying? I’ve had a 2006 Toyota 4Runner sport for 15 years 205,000 miles and looking to try something new.

I live in New jersey and went to Sterling VW in Sterling VA to buy my Atlas. It was a 3-1/2 hour drive and well worth the trip. You can go on Cargurus.com and look at the new car pricing. New Jersey won't give you as good a deal. I looked initially at a dealership in MD but they had a lot of hidden charges which materialized when I asked for a firm quote. I bought my 2019 SE w/Tech and got about $8K off. I had a 2005 Toyota 4Runner which I traded in for the Atlas.
The Atlas is a big vehicle, hardly as robust as the 4Runner. The gas mileage is better than the 4Runner but I sincerely doubt if it will go 250K trouble free miles. I drove mine for 180K miles and did nothing but put new tires and brakes into it. I wanted something with lane assist, blind spot monitoring and the Atlas seemed to fit the bill. They offered a 6 year warranty so I felt it wasn't a bad deal.
If the 4Runner had the assistance systems and if they put a 6 speed transmission into it, I would have gone again with a 4Runner.

@Atlas2001 that seems like a incredible deal. I thought I did well but perhaps markets are different in CO. It seems the silicon shortage/used car market is pushing the price of new cars up as well.

I spent two weeks getting quotes between 3 local dealerships and asking them to beat the other.

Ended up with 3.6 awd 2021.5 SE w/tech, pano sunroof, tow package and bucket desks for 6k off msrp at 38,900 plus 0% financing. Also 4k on a dented up 2007 jeep commander with 170k miles. I looked at all dealerships in the state and adjacent states and feel very confident this was the best I could do.

Got sold really hard on the back office for extended warranty. Ended up getting extended coverage to 100k miles for 1800.

You guys scored. In socal there is not a lot of Atlas 4Motion SEL's to choose from. Paid MSRP last week. Most dealers are asking $1,000-$3,000 above MSRP. And the cars are easily selling at this price. The Kia Telluride's are selling at $5,000 above MSRP. There are none on the lots locally so you have to pre order them with a deposit. The Hyundai palisade has a $10,000 above MSRP SELLING price. Yes....SELLLING. That is what people in socal are currently paying for them. My friend is a hyundai dealer in vegas and he's selling the pallisades at $11,000 above MSRP.

I'm in So Calif , there aren't many cars here due to the reported chip shortage . My dealer found one last 2020 Atlas SEL on a back lot they forgot about . Because it was last years model they discounted it $6k and I got it for $39,000 plus T&L. Otherwise I'd be paying $5000-$6000 above sticker . My Atlas is black with gold/ tan seats and door accents .

I purchased our 2019 SE V6 4Motion w/technology and towing, center row captains chairs, and only 4700 miles(owned by dealer for shuttle vehicle) for 29,500 last September.
I just got an offer for 31k. We've put 12k more on odometer. Love the vehicle.

Got into an accident with our 2020 Odyssey, with just 2000+ miles. Insurance does not want to total, given the current market value and will repair it, but seems like with the parts availability, it's going to be a long wait. Will sell it once it's back as we are uncomfortable driving it after an extensive repair.
Looking to buy a 2022 SE 2.0T FWD w/Tech in DFW area. Some dealers are willing to do a couple of 100s below MSRP or MSRP at most. Also reached out to a dealer 200+ miles out as I was looking for BRG exterior with brown interior, but they will only talk prices in person it looks like. I am also cross shopping the 2022 Pathfinder, given the resale values of the Atlas and also wife is spooked by it's reviews, but I am smitten by it's teutonic good looks :). I usually pay cash and keep my vehicles for 3-4 years, so buying at MSRP seems worrisome. Of course given the current market conditions, getting anything at MSRP seems to be a good deal across all brands, especially for 3 row family haulers. Anyone buy a SE 2.0 w/Tech recently, what did you pay?

I found a great deal on a used Atlas. My 2021.5 Atlas SE w/Tech 4motion had 17500 miles. I got it for $31,500 +TTL.
What helped was looking at the CARFAX, this dealer had it in their lot since October of last year and they were VERY motivated to sell so I drove 5 hours to Lubbock, TX to pick it up ...
