It is not on my receipt, only the reference that they found an active TSB.

Been having the same problem completely unplugged my apple CarPlay and the Atlas GPS is still drifting off location. It’s not the phones. It’s something to do with the Atlas GPS, anybody have any ideas? it seems like the Apple or android is using the car GPS when plugged in. Because the phone GPS goes back to normal after unplugging it from the car.

Yeah I have the same problem with my Atlas. Called my local dealer and there is nothing they can do. They are well aware of the problem. Note to all... Never ever by a VW product they are the worst.

My dealer tech told me many issues with that entire module and claimed some parts were from Ukraine.. also nothing but issues with all software . We are not activating Carnet and will use our iphone waze system when we travel… sad they cant get it right!

I have the same problem with my 2021 Atlas SEL. It will also affect my CarPlay when I have my phone plugged in. It’s gotten me lost more times than not and is unsafe. I called my local VW and they act like they don’t know what I’m talking about and offer to check it out for $200 diagnosis fee. It needs to be recalled.

My 2018 VW Atlas has the same issue. The local dealer said they don't know why.

I have a problem with navigation. My location is not determined correctly, the route is constantly being reroute. vw atlas cs 2020 sel premium. This happens with regular navigation and with Google / Apple maps when connected via wire. The problem is 100% with the car. Took it to the dealer (Washington). They said it was a big problem and VW didn't know how to fix it. I'll call customer care. does anyone have the same problem?

Same issue waiting for new Carnet module, it’s been six months.

I have the same issues with my Atlas 2022; it really sucks and it has become totally unreliable. I took it for service and they supposedly did a software update but it didn’t solve the problem. This should be recalled.

Many have noticed that replacing parts or disconnecting the battery temporarily resolves the issue. I have found that doing an OBD scan in VCDS does the same. Also rebooting the head unit as mentioned earlier, but this tends to be most temporary. So it basically acts like a buggy computer that needs to be reset. Could be a hardware issue, software issue or a combination of both. If you have ever dealt with Car-Net "tech" support you won't put your hopes up that their software updates will improve things. They are literally operating out of a garage somewhere in Eastern Europe. Unfortunately other car makers are going down the same path, converting basic functions into subscription services and outsourcing them to third parties. There is a lot of money in this model and the cheapest bidder usually wins.

Yes my 2024 atlas cross sport has me driving over houses in Tampa bay and always trying to reroute. It doesn't matter if I use the on board nav or apple or Google maps. Does any one know how to fix it. VW diesnrt

I don't plug my iphone, just use BT connection and never had any NAV issues using the phone app which displays on the Atlas screen. If I need to charge phone I just use the console pad

Same problem here. 2020 Atlas SEL premium. Bluetooth won't allow you to talk to calls. It is on mute. If you get help out of Customer care please update me. Barb OBX

yes, been to the dealer 3 times now with this problem. Software updates is all they do. looking to take it back again and press them to actually troubleshoot and replace something the next time.

Hi.. if they don't have a module then I doubt if an update is going to fix it. If you have e a newer model under warranty have them take a module out of a new on and install. Mine is a 2020 so they won't do that for me. Good luck

Yes the issue returned. Now I’m going after VW for an even trade on a new 2024 Atlas

Just an FYI to all, my problem came back this weekend on a 3 hour trip to the coast. Suddenly the navigation showed that we were offroad and it was demanding we take a series of turns to get back to our route! Also, now my remote start has failed. It will click, but won't start, and then times out. I have filed a complaint with NHTSA on the navigation issues as I feel this is a major safety issue! I hope everyone else with the issue is doing the same. It is easy to do online.
