Hi, did you find out how to do it? I bought the piece but now I don't know how to code it

 

I fixed mine through uninstalling me out of the VW head unit software. Essentially defaulting the car back to factory setting for a new user. Then I deleted the car from my VW garage in the phone app. So the app and the car are both defaulted back with no users. Then I re-enrolled in both the VW app and then setup the radio to link my phone. As soon as I linked the phone the green light came back on and has been working perfectly for the last year. I have a post on steps to do this. However, my issue may not be your issue. The telematics unit could have an issue and there are other fixes noted on this subject. This was the one I could do that was easiest. For some reason, something went awry in my software setup and had to be setup all over. If you look at my other posts you will see where I posted the steps. Good luck.
