I have a 2019 w Tech and I installed a dongle that disables the start stop cycle if you choose or will allow it to function by pressing the A button. I love it and would never engage it again.Here is a link:

If you just want to disable the stop/start feature, then I highly recommend the DIY Atlas / Cross Sport, Start/Stop Solution for 2018-2022 dongle. It basically reverses the stop/start switch output. The switch output is the input to the dongle, and the dongle output is the opposite of the switch output. For example, the default switch value is ON and the dongle reverses it to OFF. You can still turn the start/stop feature by pressing the switch. I've had our 2020 Cross Sport SEL R-Line in for service several times since I installed the dongle. The start/stop defaults to OFF when you start the engine, but nobody in Service has mentioned it or asked about it.

I swapped out the stock horns for Audi horns and I installed an aftermarket front license plate mount rather than bolting the plate directly to the bumper cover. The license plate mount is the only mod the service department asked about.
