2023 SEL owner here. the key fob battery replacement warning has started popping up on occasion during startup.
I read here: https://www.vwatlasforum.com/thread...m/threads/battery-change-for-cross-sport-key-fob.7158/?post_id=31916#post-31916 that the battery can be replaced without having to reprogram the key - which is a good one for VW as other models in the past had to be reprogrammed and could be costly as you have to take it to the dealer if you couldn't figure it out on your own.
before I do this, does anyone know what battery type goes in the key fob?
