Hi guys. Any of you guys run steelies for winter tires? I just got some 18x7.5 +45 and the fitment seems really tight. Wondering if I should get different rims if possible or run spacers on them. What do you guys think?

I'm curious myself. I bought 18x8 +38 and they look way more inset in the wheel wells than the original 20s. I was looking at spacers but now sure how safe they are on a truck this size.

Any guidance or personal experience insights would be greatly appreciated.

I just mounted them and I am honestly not sure about it. The rear tire hits the strut/shock when lifted. When it's put down there's about a 6mm gap between the strut and tire. Seems super close and I don't know if when I hit a pothole it would hit the strut as well. I might get different rims just for peace of mind...
