In an earlier post I needed some input on windshield replacement, when I dropped off my 2021.5 2.0 4motion the dealer gave my a 2023 V6 4motion I’m old school I didn’t care for the digital dash I prefer gages, that aside the loner had less miles and sounded like a tin box compared to my 2021 it was noisy! I attribute that to the tires, the loaner had Goodyear Assurance with less miles and the tires looked like they should be replaced soon at only like 11k miles, my 2021 with the Pirelli Scorpions is sounds and handles like a completely different car. If you’ve got the Goodyears replace them with Pirelli’s when it’s time. On a side note my personal opinion is the V6 is over rated, tune your 2.0

Thanks for sharing. It's good to know that the Goodyear Assurance are much noiser than the Pirelli Scorpions.
I've got a 2.0 fwd - and I agree. The 2.0is probably a better engine than the VR6. The VR6 does sound good, but the 2.0 has more torque sooner, and it's much better with fuel economy. It's clear why the 2024 Atlas no longer offers the 3.6 VR6. OF course, I'd love to have seen the 2.5 T VR6 - too bad that never came to USA - that's probably the best of both worlds, the vr6 sound and the power/economy of a smaller engine. :)
