Hello, just traded in a grand Cherokee for an atlas cross sport. I have a great set of 17 inch snow tires that I’d like to use on the atlas (245/65/17). I can get a good deal on a set of take-offs from a newer Tiguan (17 inch 7 wide ET40). Would these rims work? …I tried searching multiple forums, but no concrete answer.

Yes, the Tiguan wheels will be the same hub bore and bolt pattern. Lots of MQB VW stuff (Tig, Atlas, Golf, Jetta) is interchangeable.

We've had 3 Jettas, a Touareg, 2 Passats, a Tiguan, and now a Beetle and a 2020 Atlas Cross Sport SEL R-Line. It true that many VWs have the same hub bore and bolt pattern, but the backspace may vary between years and models. A different backspace may work, but you need to check for rubbing on the wheel well or frame to be sure.

My stock wheels are 20x8 with an et34, the Tiguan wheels are a 17x7 with an et40. I have read of others running similar size rims. Hopefully everything works out with the 245/65/17

PCMTire.com shows a 17x7 et42 listed as an option for the atlas cross sport…fingers crossed
