Hello everyone. Just wanted to ask for your input about the rear a/c control. I own a 2019 VW Atlas SE with the dual climate control. Is there a way where you don't have to manually turn off the rear a/c everytime after you turn on the front a/c if you need just the front a/c to function? I prefer this setting when I am driving by myself without any passengers in the car. Thanks guys in advance.

Hi, we have the same issue and we got an 2022, did you ever solve you're problem? dealer seems to have no clue whats going on.
Yes. I was able to solve the problem. Simply press the button that has the arrow symbol facing the passenger whenever you turn on the air condition (instead of the circular knob). By doing this, only the front A/C vents will blow out air while the rear vents will still be off.
Thanks for the info, i'll try it.

It's crazy since they changed the module, because the buttons were sticking, nothing works as it should, and ours is 2022.

Turn of the ac with the knob and or turning off the car, start car or turn the knob to on, rear is on full blast.
I WANT my rear AC to come on each time I start the car but it doesn’t. I have to access the control panel and turn it on every day. So frustrating
Same question. It is faintly blowing in rear .. dog and child in rear (!) --releasing vent air as if a tiny mouse was exhaling
