We went to dealer to see what we could get a Atlas SEL Premium for. Wasn't going to purchase useless we could get great deal, they had the color we wanted and captains seats we wanted and the black wheels too. After 2 hrs. of negotiations we were able to get 8.4% off of MSRP.

I think 8.4% off is a great deal plus got good price on our trade-in. KBB price for trade we got top end price. Truecar said we got exceptional deal, in fact we paid about $800 less then what they stated as exceptional.

We pick it up Monday, they have to put the 20" black wheels on it. :smile2:

Congrats on the Atlas! Sounds like you were able to get it for a steal. Which vehicle are you upgrading from?

Audi Q 5 with 56k on it.

I upgraded from a 2015 Porsche Macan Turbo with 81K on it. Love the Atlas but miss the power of the Macan. Had to buy a 2018 Golf R as well to compensate.

We got lucky, the exact vehicle we wanted including the color, captains seats and black leather seats was on the showroom floor with chrome wheels though. They had a red one in back with the black wheels which the switched over. Bought Atlas on Sat. and picked it up this last Monday. They at 1st wanted $350 to switch over the wheels, when I said no way they said OK if it means losing a sale, which it would have they then switched them over.

So far only have 200 miles on it and just love it, by the way the build date on it was July 9th, 2018.

What was your out the door price? What city/state did you purchase? Sounds like a pretty nice deal. It pisses me off you got the Black Wheels :wink2:, i tried to haggle with them to do the same but they wouldn't budge. My fault for not walking away. :)

Deal or Walk

Got to be willing to walk out. Can't tell you how many times on previous vehicles we set a price otherwise we walked. Paid $47.3K plus the taxes for a $51.4 MSRP price.

They say, " you aren't going to miss the deal because of few hundred" and I say it right back to them.
All in all , the dealer was very good to us, I expect haggling for a deal, that's what buying is all about.
