Hello everyone,

Just wanted to introduce myself. I purchased a 2023 Atlas Cross Sport yesterday and should be taking custody later this week when it arrives. I am very excited about this. A little history about me is that I have owned the following vehicles:

1995 Mazda MX-6
2002 Dodge Neon
2005 Honda CRV
2012 GMC TERRAIN

I honestly mostly buy cars new (outside of the Mazda) and run them into the ground (although I got a decent trade-in value for my Terrain with 158k on it)

I expect to have this car for at least 7-8 years. I work about 25 miles away from where I live so put about 50 miles a day, 4 days a week, 10k miles a year on my vehicles due to work.

I also enjoy road trips more than anything else. So I plan on taking this vehicle to most of the US states and prob parts of Canada and Mexico at some point. I'll probably post a lot of pics from trips on here because I really do love the way this car looks.

ooh, mx 6... nice. I used to have an '89 mx6 dx, and then later a '90 626 GT 5 door touring hatch (long time member of mx6.com ha!) .. both were a blast, with what felt like stump pulling torque .. the GT was a 2.2 turbo.. and exploded with speed when the turbo kicked in.. 200 ft/lbs in a 2400 lb car was fun....
The2g mx6 .. if you had the v6 was a cool machine, and that v6 was smooooooth.
Enjoy the Atlas, it's huge.. and definitely doesn't handle like a mazda.. but it does pretty good for it size, at least compared to lots of other SUV.

Thank you. Yea I was 17 when I got the Mazda. It had a blitz body kit and was definitely the V6 version. I was young and dumb and poured all my hard earned money into it. I was sort of obsessed with Fast and the Furious when it came out. I put TV's in the visors, aftermarket pretty much everything including the pedals.

I ended up totaling it hydroplaning in a bad storm on a highway in Austin, TX.

Anyways I picked up my Atlas yesterday and it looks clean. I'm very happy with it.
