Need some lift

So having only owned my Atlas for a week I am just starting to do research on suspension etc... What I am wondering is if anyone has found any options for an extra 1-2 inches of lift? I have a 4motion SEL and I do plan on it seeing off-road but would like a little more than the 8" clearance. So far looking at rims and tires or coil spacers since I see no spring options yet.

Ideas?????

I am currently looking in to options on that as well. Wheels and tires seem to be an issue as our bolt pattern is 5x112 and no one seems to make truck wheels for that pattern. Working with Forge Motorsport on developing intake and suspension spacer lifts. Will follow up when I have all the details.

I will be waiting to see what you find
Anyone with the Forge lift kit experiencing or know of extra stress/strain on the CV joints that will cause premature wear on the axles or control arms and bushings? Just curious what it looks like under the car with the lift in place and how much more articulation/extension is required of the original components beyond the OEM specs.

Anyone had a dealer service the car with the Forge lift kit installed? Any notes or warranty concerns?

Doing a little research but I don't think cv joints have the issues that u joints (cardan) have at higher angles. Cardan joint life starts decreasing once you go past 3 degrees. 5.0 degrees drops life to 60%, 10 degrees is 30% and 15 degrees is 20% of life expectancy. All I got for CV joints (constant velocity) is that they are capable of operating at much greater angles and higher speeds than cardan joints. So you'll probably be perfectly fine for at least a 100,000 miles or so BUT if you have an extended warranty and the cv's fail then I bet you that they can deny coverage as the lift will probably have slightly shortened the life.

Oh, and you're mpg will go down with a lift or bigger/heavier tires as well.

I installed the forge leveling kit and added some bf Goodrich all terrain ko2 tires to tackle some Colorado off roading. I’ve now got about 12in of clearance compared to the stock 8in. I had previously taken the atlas stock on some moderate 4x4 trails with small crawling spots and it held its own. Looking forward to trying some more trails with the better specs.

I'm looking at doing either H&R springs, their coilover kit or custom coilovers from scale suspension that shows you to lift and lower the car within a range.

What size tires were you able to fit in the wheel wells? Any rubbing while turning?

I’m wondering the same thing. We’re thinking about putting the “Mall Baller” kit (leveling kit with bigger tires and wheels) on my wife’s 2019 Atlas but we don’t want to void the factory warranty.

I’ve got 245/60 on stock 20’s and couldn’t go any bigger without leveling it or getting spacers.

Thinking of installing the Forge leveling kit also. How has it worked for you? What if any issues ? Thank you for your feed back

Did you install the leveling kit and if so what size tires were you able to use? I too have the stock 20s on mine and would like to go bigger when they need replacement .
Anyone know the average price for a leveling kit install?

$300 for the parts and about $1000 installation
has anyone used tire spacers on their Atlas??? If so any issues and what size did you use?

Just placed an order for a set with the fifteen52 traverse MX wheels and Falken Wildpeak A/T3W 265/70R17 Tires. Run into any issues with your install?
