I have a 2021 Atlas Cross Sport SEL AWD with all the bells and whistles. My navigation works fine 75% of the time. The compass on the dash will read N and the compass on the mirror will read SE. One in a while I'll loose sound coming from the stereo the whole 20 min. drive home from work. I was finally able to gain the sound back when I turned on the navigation??? The foot activated tailgate doesn't aways work. My remote starter on the key doesn't always work. My memory seats don't always work. Just passed 1000 miles and it's been to 2 VW dealerships, neither can duplicate the problems with exception to the tailgate. I have at least 9 videos of my navigation not working. Dealership outcome... "No error message, everything seems to be working fine"

Hey guys looking for a fix or if anyone else had this issue. I have a 2021 Atlas SEL 4 motion. The gps was working fine however when I went to use it yesterday it was way off. It did not have me driving on the street I was, it could not get the right route to my destination, and now in the app it shows my car in a different location than where it is. Any help us appreciated.

Same thing with my 2019 GLI. Went in for service, they updated the software, now the Navigation and compass are all messed up and it cannot hear my voice for any commands or phone calls.I’m having the same issue on my 2020 Atlas Cross Sport. I will take it in for service. It looks like the BT phone connection is also not working properly. If I answer a call, the person on the other end can’t hear me. Same issue with my wife’s phone as well. Any one else having this issue as well?
Same thing with my 2021 Atlas V6 SEL. Navigation was working fine and then all of the sudden I’m miles off on my navigation. Now it’s very delayed often the compass isn’t showing the correct direction and my dynamic road sign information isn’t accurate. I’ve had my car into the dealership 3 times for the issue. First time tried to update my SIM card, second time teied to install said updated SIM card and this last time I had it in they replaced the car net module and recalibrated. It’s still not accurate.
Just like everyone else, I had the same issue with my 2021 VW Atlas Sel Prem. About 2 months ago, my navigation was off track. I would be somewhere and the GPS would display that I was 50 miles away. Similarly, my clock was off by 35 minutes, which later turned into hours as it relies on GPS and I cannot set it manually.
I had issues with my Bluetooth audio during phone calls as I would be able to hear the person clearly however, they couldn't hear my voice.
I took it too the dealership and they said that it was a nationwide issue with the call module and that I would have to wait on a update from VW. They said that they would be air dropping it via the radio towards the end Dec, beginning of Jan 2022. As a engineer in electronics and telecommunications, I found it weird how an update is sent through a radio frequency signal, that too of several megabytes. Maybe I hadn't paid enough attention in class?
Anywho, I told them that in the profession I'm in, I need to have a working car phone. They finally put me on the books. I just got my Atlas back from service and everything finally works! All 3 issues have been resolved. This is what they did (from my receipt):
Customer states people cannot hear him through the microphone please check and advise. Connected to Bluetooth and tested and verified them not being able to hear me. Tried pulling fuse to call module and let sit to reset but no luck there. Ordered call module V.C. H10, LG8, 01S. Removed 5f radio screen and trim to access call module. Ran test plan for replacement coded and then tested system and all is now working as should and ready for customer.

The car is a little over a year old with 8,206 miles. Like nearly all the prior posts, this issue began with car microphone issues where we could hear callers but they could not hear us and voice commands to the car were also unheard. Clock problems too. And the navigation was also way off this recent time; We live in Los Angeles but the navigation showed San Francisco area. Like someone else in this thread we have also contacted VW for a possible buyback. Really, that’s the only reason we took the car to the dealership for the 4th time for the exact same issue - to strengthen our case that the electronics in this car are total crap and put the driver and passengers at risk of distraction and injuryI’m NOT holding my breath that what they did today will resolve the issue. Thinking we won’t get resolution, we have an attorney on standby. Good luck to you all in your efforts to get the issue resolved.
Reviving this thread. I don't have an atlas, I have a Tiguan SEL-R line. Same exact issue as everybody else here.

Who uses Nav supplied by manufacturers 😎😆😇 iPhone- google, apple, Waze….
