Ha I’m no master, but thank you. It’s not a huge movement, but it can vary based upon your height. It moves pretty decently for me since I’m as some would jokingly say I’m vertically challenged.
I drive really close to the steering and Im 5’9. Easy exit only moove 2/3 inches. I still can manually push the seat back 7/8” more than the easy exit. So I was wondering if maybe there’s a sequence I need to do to “set” where the easy exit seat would go?

For those who were wondering how work the OBDEleven with the 2022 Atlas: flawless!
I use the ios version, and all coding worked first shot. Hood open is the key. Just need to pop the hood, no need to fully open.
Did you do the auto/start stop voltage change? Tried it on mine and it shows the value I entered correctly, but it does not turn off and first stop I make the car shuts off. The Urban Joke version 1 tails work perfectly though so it isn't just my obdeleven not working. I had the hood open when I made the changes. Also couldn't turn off the no menu access when moving even though it shows everything not activated.

Anyone have the longcoding for byte 29 to set the ESC/ASR options so ESC can be off?
Module 03 Brakes (ABS)
Byte 29 Bit 0-3

ESP Configuration corresponds to the Right side of the Hex code of Byte 29 bits 0-3

x1 ESC ON
x2 ESC ON/ASR OFF
x3 ESC ON/ESC SPORT
x4 ESC ON/ESC OFF
x5 ESC ON/ASR OFF/ESC OFF
x6 ESC ON/ESC SPORT/ESC OFF
x7 ESC ON/ASR OFF/ESC OFF
x8 ESC ON/ESC SPORT/ESC OFF
x9 ESC ON/ESC SPORT/ESC OFF
xA ASR ON/ASR OFF/ESC SPORT

The Factory setting is ASR On / ASR Off / ESC Sport xA or AA in almost all high trim models

the Left side of the Hex code in Byte 29 corresponds to Bits 4-7 almost in all Atlas models its A which translates to Bit 5 Emergency Alert Notification aka Front Assist (AWV) and Bit 7 Blind Spot with RCTA (Rear Cross Traffic Alert) those options are enabled

in your case, you can use either A5 or A7

Byte 29 check Bits 0,2,5,7

use LCode Latest LCode version | Ross-Tech Forums to know which bits to change

all credit goes to this post on Ross Tech MK100 ABS Coding | Ross-Tech Forums

this is not related to ESP but you can add it while you're coding the ABS module, Byte 28 Bit 5 it enables Hill Descent Control from MIB screen

Is there any coding for these mods?

  • Make the 360 view the default camera for reverse
  • Change the fuel tank size so the low fuel light comes later

Also, I have enabled the watch movie while in motion. But how do we watch movie? Does it need to be on a usb-c stick? Does it start automatically, or it needs to be on MEDIA?

I`m not so sure about the first one.

But about the Low Fuel Warning Go to Module 17 Dashboard ---> Adaption ---> Defuel_threshold ---> change the 9 L to something Lower like 6 but i don`t recommend this you will have less time finding a fuel station.

Here is my latest/greatest. Spreadsheet is the list of mods with a description, .txt file is the instructions/coding. All of these are tested/proved out on my 2018 SEL; dubtle changes year to year can cause issues/changes in these so b/c it works on mine, it may not work on your newer model. You have to have the hardware to male things work i.e. you can't code auto folding mirrors if you don't have mirrors that auto fold (duh). Finally, most of these are consistent across VW's MQB platform vehicles so I have an '18 Golf, most of these work on it as well.

If you don't know what OBDEleven is, please google it/youtube it/FB it, etc - tons of info out there.

TLDR: a dongle/app that goes in your OBDII port that allows you to scan, log data, and make all sorts of changes to your VW/Atlas. No, it doesn't "void" your warranty but as always, you are on your own with DIY and I'm not responsible for your goof-ups. If you screw up your car and take it to the dealer, expect to pay their labor to fix it. End.

Hello there,
Thank you for posting this! I'm Diving in and going to purchase the OBDeleven pro......I bought a slavage flooded 2021 VW Atlas, and need to start working through the electronics to try to get it running again.

I'll keep you posted on the progress, I'm going through the fuse boxes now.

Take Care,

For the OBD11 guru, I need your knowledge. My windshield is cracked. I have the heated windshield and there’s no aftermarket available and no OEM. My service tech said that since is new, VW did not produce the part yet. So, there is a part number, but no availability and no stock. It can be months before I can have my windshield replace. My question is: can I code in OBD11 somewhere to put not active or remove the heated defogger option so I can replace my windshield with an OEM one, but without the heated option in it. The defogger can be manually enabled in the MIB3 and start automatically when the sensor detects some fog. I would like to turn that all off, so the system won’t throw code or try to start the defogger heated windshield. Since that option is not in all 2022 trim, I assume there’s a codding or adaptation somewhere that can be turn off.
See the image bellow of the heated windshield button.

I'm new here. The battery on my Atlas tested defective at the dealer 6 days out of warranty and they wouldn't take care of it for me. I replaced the battery with an after market AGM. I'm trying to avoid dealer fees for registration and recoding. Does anyone know if I can do the recoding with OBDeleven?

EDIT
I was able to do battery coding and adaptation on my Atlas with OBDeleven. I took it to a VW auto shop and they did it incorrectly. Here is video of the steps:
Hey ...I know this is an older comment but wondered if/what the dealership did when you say they did it incorrectly? I just had them do encoding for a new battery that was already installed and they apparently didn't even pull it out to look at it. My understanding was/is that there are specs on it that should be included during the process? At the very least, they should have noticed that the auto parts store gave me a standard flooded battery vs. the EFB+. Went back, got an AGM and dealership did a courtesy recode, but given what happened the first time, I'm dubious as to whether they have configured everything right.
