[NCAtlas]

Hi everyone,

I just purchased my Atlas and pending delivery. I ended up going with a black SEL Premium and added R-Line wheels and running boards. As others have noted, the halogen fog lights are pretty ugly and I’m hoping to replace them ASAP. During my hours of googling, I came across a set of LEDs that appear to replace the fog light housing and serve as both DRL and turn signal. I provided a link below to a sellers homepage with the images. Has anyone here considered/installed these? Are you happy with the color match? Given the price it seems like it’s worth taking a chance, but hoping to get some opinions too.

Looks good... If you get them, let us all know how they look. Maybe post some pictures of them on an atlas!

Did some research on VW Vortex and people are using these. Don't require housing replacement plug n play no wire cutting which will void any warranty.
Those are cool but be careful most of that stuff comes from china and can be kind of cheap looking sometimes.
These are true LED lights from Philips plug right in to factory wiring and uses the factory housings.
Posted a few other sites that have great looking led kits.

Update from earlier post

On the amazon site it says the Philips 12834UNIX2 doesn't fit Atlas but on other sites that sell the same bulbs it does.
I also put in 2017 VW models and they fit all those .
There should be more info on the VW Vortex Atlas LED fog light forum section.

Does your brand of LED lights come in white and yellow? What's the major difference between the type colors?

Yes brand new yellow/white - simply switch by moving OEM fog switch on/off - this is a HYPER YELLOW not dull halogen yellow.

That pic above is from me (the one comparing the Phillips to deAuto). I used the yellow vinyl covers to achieve the yellow look as you can see that during the day. Go with the deAuto fogs...they are stupid bright, won't blind anyone if installed with the LEDs orientated correctly, and are of a v. high quality.

Thanks for the support - we have the new dual fog LED yellow and white that can give you the ability to use white or yellow without the laminx and it also has safety flash mode:
