I have the Atlas SEL in Deep Black Pearl and it has excessive scratching at the 4 door handles. I have never had a car or SUV scratch like this. The dealer said it was from finger nails hitting the paint to which I say that is highly unlikely as I am extra careful opening my door and every day there seems to be new scratches appearing. They seem to appear out of no where. I have a friend that has SEL-P in Tourmaline Blue Metallic and has had no issues. I am thinking it may be specific to the Deep Black Pearl.

Haven't heard anything about susceptibility to scratches specifically around the door handles. I find it hard to believe that finger nails could be doing that kind of damage. Sounds like a typical dealer deflection of an issue.

polish out the scratches and have Xpel self healing paint film installed in the door handle pockets, works great.
