Hello - I am new to this forum as I purchased a 2019 SEL. Looking forward to participating in discussions. Last night I heard a humming noise form the right rear wheel area AFTER I turned off the engine. I waited for five minutes but it did not go away. When I started and stopped the engine, the noise was gone. Any idea what this might be about? I asked the salesperson at the dealer to check in with their service department, so if I get a satisfactory answer, I will write it here. Thank you in advance.

Welcome to the forum Seryms :smile2:

Five minutes is quite long, if it were shorter I'd think fuel pump

I'll be looking forward to your update !

Dealer said that it is likely the leak detection pump that runs for a short period of time after the engine has been turned off. I do not know if this is true or not. I will see if it becomes a problem. Now that I think about it, I have a friend who bought an Atlas and their battery died within a few months of purchasing it. I wonder if they had an issue like this that drained the battery.
