Hi,

Just wondering if anyone out there understand how the low/high beam wiring circuitry works in the Atlas?

From looking about and doing some measurements with my multimeter it looks like when you turn your high beams on this is done by digital communication. Not like in the old days were there was an independent fuse for low and high beams.

The Atlas has a 10 amp fuse for the left headlight assembly and another 10 amp fuse for the right headlight assembly.

I am looking for some place (anywhere) in the Atlas where a wire goes from ~0Vdc to ~+12Vdc when the high beams are turned on.

I want to tap this signal to operate a relay for turning auxiliary lighting on when the high beams are turned on.

Any ideas would be appreciated!
