My 2021 (MIB3 system) CS, Premium, SEL, V6, 4Motion, RLine, remote start and Car-Net remote start would not work.

Going into the internet to find a fix, I did! Try the below steps:

Step 1: Push Start button (turn ignition on) Dont start the engine.
Step2: Use the Driver Information Button on the right side of the steering wheel to Navigate to RANGE.
Step3: While in RANGE, press and hold OK button for 4-10 seconds, then release
Step4: After you release the OK Button. The SERVICE MENU will appear.
Step5: In the SERVICE MENU select ENGINE CODE. Then press OK Button.
Step6: After pressing the OK Button, reset has occurred.
Step7: Turn off the Ignition.

This cured my problem with the Remote Start not working, it works fine on both the FOB and Car-net.

I previously had this problem and took it to the dealership, they made a big mess with changing the fuel tank sending unit, not this time.

All is good.

I'll have to give this a shot. Im thinking it will temporarily clear something but inevitably it will trigger again.

I would love to say this worked for me, but, alas, no. myVW and remote start dont do ANYTHING. Not sure how to fix this. I have a 2020 VW Atlas Cross Sport. Any advice anyone?

Didn't work for me either. Remote start via FOB or APP just locks the door and the engine makes some sort of noise (not starting, just sounds like a part moving) and doesn't start. Does this 2x before saying remote start not possible

Same issue here after car was at dealer for about 3 weeks and couldn’t find the problem.

So, the only thing I've stopped doing (at the suggestion of another thread) is to stop topping off the gas tank. When it's done pumping, I don't pump to round of up the cents. After about 3 days of driving it started working and has been working ever since. Don't know if its related or not, but that's what happened.

I think your issue is different, try logging out of the app and log back in.
