Today in a local automatic roller based car wash I was rear-ended when my car apparently left the rollers and was no longer moving forward. Prior to the low speed, no damage collision all my front assist sensors, and the rear sensors were going bananas presumably because it can’t differentiate the car wash scrubbers from other cars or obstacles. Has anyone else experienced something like this? I found a bunch of articles about these systems having issues in other auto manufacturers.y car was in neutral, and then when sensors went crazy the car braked, causing me to come off the rollers.

thanks for the post, i'll be sure to let my Wife no about this. Our Car is only two weeks old and have already told her not to go through Auto Wash with those crappy rubber buffers. But had no idea about the assisted braking could cause issues through car wash. Interesting, our Terrain, never had this issue.
