I'm Phillip, Live in Chattanooga TN. Just purchased a 2020 ATLAS CROSS SPORT SEL From CARMAX in Chattanooga. Only had the Vehicle 2 weeks. This past weekend running thru the Car Wash and noticed the Check Engine light was on, checked the Vehicle Systems Status on the Screen and it shows a STOP / START Error. Could not figure out how to reset it or get it to go away. Could this be the reason for the Check Engine Light. Always, Always been a FORD Guy but my Wife liked the ATLAS and I broke with my Brand Loyalty and we Purchased something other than a FORD. Really like the ATLAS and like that it was built here in Chattanooga. Any Suggestions?

my searches when my 2021 atlas had this error said it could be battery or alternator related. my car ended up also having a check engine light come on with start/stop error, randomly stalling while idling requiring a manual restart, which has now been diagnosed as a charcoal filter failure.
