Boredom during this pandemic crisis has me surfing more than usual. Today I was looking for a IOS compatible alternative to the OBDeleven tool for my 2019 SE/Tech. I found Carista which is both Android and IOS compatible and seems to be reasonable at $30. In addition, it's an open source tool that works with a lot of other apps. Check it out.
Moreover, has anyone purchased one for their Atlas? Any feedback? What does it do well, not do well?

Lots of folks use them, hit the Atlas forum on vwvortex and search for Carista and you'll get some info. Works ok but lacks the functionality of OBDEleven in terms of being able to "long code" - just uses "apps" (really just macros) to make the changes. I'd pass and get an OBDEleven, much more functional and now apparently allows full functionality with IOS. Also, with Carista, you need an ongoing subscription to use it.
