Bluetooth Audio Quiet

Add me to the list... '22 Atlas using Android Auto. With music (Bluetoothed Pandora..) sound at normal volume when a text message arrives; I select on the screen "play text message." The text is recited at a "quiet" volume until I reach for the volume knob and turn the sound up. When the text has been recited, it goes back to the music. If I am not fast on the volume knob, it BLASTS the music sound at a high volume. Thought for certain I was going to blow out some speakers...... Now I am quick to reach volume knob.
I have tried everything in my infotainment to increase text volume. One subscreen within the Sound screen shows a line for Bluetooth and it indicates "Quiet" with option to change. Only that entire line option is not highlighted nor available to change. I can't get there....
My VW sales person (who's smarter than me with these things) I went to twice. He's just as puzzled and doesn't have an answer. Hopefully on of you reading this has a solution. Thanks for your time. I'll be monitoring this thread.

This is the screen I am not able to open Bluetooth and adjust volume level from Quiet. All other lines are available to adjust.

Possible solution!
The last few days the volume for texts being recited through BT connection has been at the same level as music media being played on my infotainment center. Not "quiet."
While playing your music at normal volume level, have someone send you a text. When you get the announcement of an incoming text and the option to listen; tap yes and QUICKLY turn up the volume before the text begins to be recited.
Since doing that, I have not had to reach for the volume knob when texts have arrived and were recited.
It has only been a few days, but I do believe that has solved the "QUIET" volume problem coming across via Bluetooth.
Try this, and let us all know if it works for you. Hope it is not just a fluke.....

I also found resolve by uninstalling Pandora on my phone. It was setup to automatically Bluetooth to my Atlas with music playing immediately upon start up.
Pandora being Bluetoothed was competing with my text messages coming in. Cutting the volume of the text being read to half what it needed to be. You others have been there...... reaching for the volume knob to turn up the sound before the text started to be read. Then remembering to turn the volume down before it blew out your speakers....
Anyway, taking Pandora off my phone, along with its automatic connection to the Atlas, solved the problem. Volume is now normal with Bluetooth apps.
Now I can enjoy my Atlas.
Cheers!
