Availability is unreal

Evening,

New to the forums as I have almost given up on this truck.....

Feb 3rd went in purchased Exec R-line, every possible option etc you can get on the truck (Ontario, Canada)

Been told now several times of delays originally I was to have it beginning of may - then June, now the vehicle has apparently been shipped to Toronto and it's there and the dealer cannot take delivery of it because a new issue was found in the braking system on certain production dates and no fix and or how long this will take....... but VW are keeping it hush hush?!?

this should be a 2019 model by the time I receive it!

I have tried to contact the dealer atleast 3 different times this week and haven't got a single response! These sales guys are never unresponsive.
The silence I am seeing definitely means the issue found is serious.

Anybody who has gotten delivery of Atlas this week?

Dont feel bad.... I ordered my Execline back at the endo of October 2017. Told initially it would be 90 day delivery. Checked in early Feb to find out status and was told delayed until end o May for shipment from USA . It's now at the dealership but I cannot take delivery because of the brake recall!!! 8 Months!! I could have built my own car in that amount of time ;)

I cannot fault the dealer and am kind of happy that issue was identified before delivery.... I just better not have any issues with it once I have it on the road!
