I'm waiting for my new SE to be delivered to the dealer.
Went with SE package to save money so opted out of the tech package. But really wanted the power lift gate so I went online and found this nice aftermarket one here.

Power operated tailgate lift assisting system TL105 ? Autoease

The company has these for pre order right now but should be available shortly.
Looks fairly easy to install. Not sure if your interested but thought I would send the link.
