When my atlas auto stops ignition, it's like after stopping at a stop sign, then pressing the gas, the engine rev's gears don't catch correctly in the transmission when it fires back up. Reminds me of clutch down and pressing the gas in a manual transmission vehicle. I try to consciously disable the auto engine stop immediately when I first start the car to avoid the issue, seems to fix as far as i can tell. My wife drives it and seems to think there is something wrong with my transmission as she forgets to follow this protocol. Dealer cant recreate problem nor can I for them to see the issue. Has anyone else experienced this or similar? 82k Atlas SEL 2018

I experienced weird shifts when braking on my 2018 Atlas SE. But I always turned off the start-stop option so I haven't experienced what you are describing. And I taught my wife a new habit also to do that lol
Have you changed your transmission fluid yet?
