2018 Atlas shakes when stepping on the gas

Hi everyone, I am a new member. I hope some fellow Atlas owners can help me with my issue. I have a 2018 front wheel drive launch edition. Whenever I step on the gas pedal a little harder from a stop, the steering wheel starts to shake hard. This is true specially when it rains. I took it to the dealer and I was told that it is how the ESP/ASP works. Are there any members experiencing this? Thanks so much.
